Puri Lumbung Cottages is more than a hotel-it is an Eco-tourism project dedicated to the discovery, conservation and enhancement of the unspoiled area around Munduk. The people of Munduk village are involved as much as possible in caring for our guests. The hotel not only provide employment, but engage them in activities that maintain the tropical rainforest and preserve water. We also encourage the young villagers to keep their cultural heritage alive with traditional dance, music and crafts.
Rooms
Standard Cottages : The Puri Lumbung Standard Cottages are renovations of original Balinese lumbung (rice barns). All twelve cottages have a bedroom with an attached balcony made from hardwood, perched on stilts. A stairs leads down to a large dressing room and an attached garden bathroom, with shower and hot water. The cottages are surrounded by lush, tropical gardens and ponds with views over the green rice paddy valleys, the distant ocean shores, and surrounding volcanic mountain peaks.
Family Cottage ( 1 buildings consist of 2 bed room with 2 bath room)
Two large newly built mini-home cottages, designed in the tradition of Lumbung (rice barns), but built of hardwood and stone. Upstairs main bedroom with double bed and smaller second bedroom downstairs. Both bedrooms open into a veranda overlooking the spectacular scenery. By descending stairs, both bedrooms have bathrooms on ground floor. These family units can accommodate four people or five, when mattresses are added. Both of the standard family cotages located bit close by the road side are surrounded by lush, tropical gardens and ponds with views over the green rice paddy valleys, and surrounding volcanic mountain peaks.
Deluxe Family Cottage ( 1 building consist of 2 bed room with 2 bath room)
Hardwood cottages with complete surrounding gardens and ponds. Master bedroom with double bed and connecting with another bedroom with twin beds. Large veranda on stilts, with gorgeous gardens below and mountains and valleys in the distance. Two garden bathrooms on first floor with cold and hot water.
The Deluxe Famiy Cottages set up right in front of the rice field surrounded by lush, tropical gardens and ponds with views over the green valleys, the distance ocean shores.
